My WorkMy Writing,
and Me.

My name has an extra 'a' and I have an extroverted nature.

I'm a creative communicator with a love of sandwiches, clever copy, and interesting design.

I don't like spelling 'necessary' or thinking about how deep the ocean is. But I'm working on both of them.

About Me

Well hello there! I’m Rachael.

I'm from a small village in the middle of the Surrey MoD training grounds. Finding an unidentified exploding object or an entire film set is not unusual. I sat (and passed!) all my GCSE's and A-Levels, while chairing the School Council, campaigning for a total uniform redesign, and playing hockey badly. I then moved my life up to the Midlands for University, where I recently graduated with a 1st Class (hons) degree in ‘Fashion Communication and Promotion’.

I went to university wanting to become a fashion doyenne, and instead found myself drawn to creative copy, strategy and illustration. I enjoy finding what links people to the brands they love, and considering how to strengthen, broaden and develop them.

I aim to infuse a sense of ‘fantasy realism’ in all my work, whether it be copy or design; a sense of fun and magic. I’d like to think my work surprises people, makes them smile, or say ‘me too!’

If you too like fantastical, witty and relatable design, strategy, and writing, contact me here.
